This show is inspired by long pieces with vocals, but not singing, and sounds, but not music.

I don’t know why I am always listening to new records when there are so many good ones that are not new, but aren’t you glad we mix it up? We know you like to listen to indiepop, noise rock, and squelching electronic disco collage in the same hour, before you’re swallowed swallowed by waves of mellowtron, blue noise, and all the other noises of the rainbow.

I felt myself this week. I recorded the announcements in my car and it was still light after 9pm. I was drinking a beer in the car, which I think even if it’s parked, this is still illegal. That’s a metaphor for this week’s show: Just doing what’s right, even if it’s against the law.
